In collaboration with Devyani Padubidri, a Transportation Planner, and other safety advocates, my Graphic Design role focused on preparing a report about Bikeway Safety planning for Walsh Avenue and Martin Avenue for the City of Santa Clara. With the goal being to organize and visualize data and concepts effectively, this included creating infographics that illustrate bike accident statistics, public outreach assets, and mapping out proposed bikeway upgrades for easy comprehension. My role would ensure that the City’s deliverables maintain a consistent visual identity by selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and layouts that resonate with both the community and stakeholders. Additionally, the use of engaging visuals would help communicate complex information clearly, ultimately supporting the goal of enhancing bikeway safety and encouraging more people to choose cycling as a safe and viable mode of transportation.
